Prayer

There is so much power in prayer. Prayer is the focal point of the believer’s life. Without prayer, there is a void of power, intimacy with God, and clarity on God’s divine plan for our lives. Prayer is the point where we meet God and partner with him to develop divine strategy, obtain knowledge, and so much more!

Prayer saved my life. Prayer has been pivotal to discovering my identity and my God given purpose on this earth. Prayer initiates revelation from God. We allow God to reveal himself and his plan for our lives when we pray. The secret of the Lord is revealed to them that fear him, and He will show them His covenant, Psalm 25:14. The ability to receive revelation and divine guidance is only accessed through prayer. Prayer opens the mind to the impossible.

Prayer ignites faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him, Hebrews 11:6. Prayer builds your faith journey. God increases your faith when you earnestly seek him. As you share intimate time with God, he continues to reveal his nature to you and you begin to believe him in a new way. Its a continuous cycle of wonder, intimacy, healing, and revelation.

Additional benefits to prayer are:

• Peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7)

• Clarity on decisions (James 1:5)

• Exchange of heaviness for joy (Psalm 30:11-12, Isaiah 61:3)

• Improved mood (Philippians 4:6)

• Fights depression (Psalm 30:5)

• Strategy for living a prosperous life (Proverbs 21:21, Proverbs 10:4)

• Power to forgive (Matthew 6:14-15)

• Power to love (1 Corinthians 16:14, Colossians 3:14)

• Divine healing (1 Peter 2:24, Psalms 103:3)

• Knowledge on your God given purpose (Ephesians 2:10, Psalm 57:2, Romans 8:28)

Through my journey in prayer, the Lord has inspired me to write a devotional book on Prayer. The title of the Book is, “Reborn in Prayer”. I invite you all to come on this journey of healing, peace and divine purpose through prayer.
